As I type this it’s World Princess Week. Disneyland Paris always celebrate this in style, with multiple meet and greets or encounters with the Princesses. But if you’re not visiting during World Princess Week, there’s still plenty of Disney Princess related fun to be discovered around the resort! In this blog we’re breaking down everything Disney Princess you can find at Disneyland Paris, to allow you to live your best royal life when you next visit.
Who are the Disney princesses?

In Disney canon there are thirteen official Disney princesses in the line up. They are:
- Snow White
- Cinderella
- Sleeping Beauty
- Ariel (from The Little Mermaid)
- Belle (from Beauty and the Beast)
- Jasmine (from Aladdin)
- Pocahontas
- Mulan
- Tiana (from Princess and the Frog)
- Rapunzel (from Tangled)
- Merida (from Brave)
- Moana
- Raya (from Raya and the Last Dragon).
Notable omissions from the list are Elsa and Anna from the Frozen films. Of course they’re both queens! However for this blog I’m going to include them in the descriptions of what’s available, because a lot of people tend to include them in line-up regardless.
Disneyland Park

If you’re seeking Disney Princess related fun in the Disneyland Paris theme parks, then Disneyland Park is where you want to head! With the gorgeous Sleeping Beauty Castle as it’s icon, it’s no wonder that Disney Princesses feel at home here.
Attractions
- Princess Pavilion (Fantasyland) – This is your place for meeting the Disney princesses. It’s worth noting that although there’s normally a couple of Princesses meeting and greeting in here at any given time, you only get to meet one and there’s no way of knowing who it’s going to be! To meet a Princess at the Pavilion you now need to get a virtual queue. Queue spots are dropped on the Disneyland Paris app at 9.45am and 2pm daily. You do need to be in the park to enter the virtual queue, and you need to be quick – spots get snapped up quickly!
- Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough (Fantasyland) – On the upper floor of the Castle, the story of Sleeping Beauty is retold through stained glass windows, tapestries and set pieces (look out for the spinning wheel and snoring suits of armour!). This tends to be a very chill experience, and offers some lovely views across Fantasyland too!
- Dragon’s Lair (Fantasyland) – While technically not princess related, the dragon in the basement of the castle is reportedly there to ward off any knights trying to rescue Sleeping Beauty! The animatronic dragon is impressive, and could scare a few folks.
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Fantasyland) – This classic dark ride sees you boarding little cars to travel through the story of Snow White. In a lot of this ride you’re actually in the position of Snow White, so you only see her a couple of times – at the beginning in the dwarf’s cottage, and at the end for her happily ever after! In the middle are a lot of encounters with the Evil Queen in Hag form. This ride has been known to scare quite a few folks

- Storybook Canal Boats (Fantasyland) – In this ride you board a slow moving boat and pass dioramas of scenes from many Disney films including many of the Princess films. Look out for scenes from Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, the Little Mermaid and Aladdin.
- Casey Jr (Fantasyland) – the ride itself is Dumbo themed, but this little train voyage takes you over the same models you see on the Storybook Canal Boats.
- Aladdin’s walkthrough (Adventureland) – This walkthrough attraction retells the story of Aladdin through models and special effects, and of course Jasmine makes many appearances!
- Mickey’s Philharmagic (Discoveryland) – In this 3D film, Donald Duck steals Mickey’s sorcerer’s hat, and ends up travelling through musical scenes of many Disney films. This includes some of the Princess films including Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid and Aladdin.
- Tales of Magic (Main Street on and around Sleeping Beauty Castle) – The nighttime spectacular for Disneyland Park, this show combines projections, fountains, fireworks and drones to tell a story about magic. And naturally there are several Disney Princess related sections too (I particularly love the Beauty and the Beast section – there’s even snow on Main Street) Check out our blog with viewing tips for watching this show.
- Stars on Parade (Fantasyland to Main Street) – The daily parade includes a whole float dedicated to the Disney Princesses, and a Frozen finale float with Anna and Elsa in attendance.
If there is seasonal entertainment it’s likely that at least some of the Princesses will be making an appearance so keep an eye on show times and descriptions too!
Dining

There’s a couple of opportunities to dine like royalty in this park!
- Auberge de Cendrillon (Fantasyland) – This is the dining spot to meet the Disney princesses. Serving fixed price breakfasts, lunches and dinners, while you dine a number of Disney princesses will pop by your table for a chat, hug and photo. As with the Princess pavilion there’s no guarantee which princesses you’ll meet here (although there should be more than one). You might also see Suzy and Perla, mouse pals of Cinderella. The food here is French themed and we’ve heard a lot of folks, particularly little ones, struggle to find something to their taste – but most seem to think the Disney Princess encounters are worth it!
- Agrabah Cafe (Adventureland) – While not overly Disney Princess themed, this restaurant is themed to Aladdin so expect lots of styling details from that. Also look out for Jasmine making her appearance on a dessert or two!
Also keep an eye on the snack spots for Princess related treats or souvenir items, they often pop up seasonally. The Cinderella Coach popcorn bucket has been popular for some time and can be found at many popcorn carts in the park!
Shopping

If you want to share your princess love with a souvenir you have some opportunities to do so in Disneyland Park!
- La Chaumiere de Sept Nains (Fantasyland) – This Snow White themed shop is your best place for Disney Princess related items; notably costumes, toys and collectables can be found here. The shop itself is also wonderfully themed, half like a castle and half like the Seven Dwarf’s cottage!
- Sir Mickey’s (Fantasyland) – While less Princess themed than its near neighbour, this shop also has a number of Disney Princess related items, including souvenirs themed to Sleeping Beauty Castle herself.
- Merlin the Enchanter (Fantasyland) – This shop inside the castle sells crystal related souvenirs, including jewellery and collectables related to the princesses. Look out for the tiaras!
- The Castle Shop (Fantasyland) – Also in the castle, this shop is Christmas all year round, including ornaments featuring the princesses. There’s also some lovely Sleeping Beauty theming in here.
- Three Fairies confectionary (Fantasyland) – This shop is for those with a sweet tooth, offering sweet treats. The store itself is themed to the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty. Probably its most famous product is the Candy Floss / Cotton Candy. (Delightfully called ‘Father’s beard’ in French!). The shop itself does often close in quieter seasons.
- Emporium (Main Street) – the largest shopping location in the park, this shop holds a little bit of everything, including items themed to the princesses of course. Look out for clothing, toys, keyrings, pins, housewares and more.
- Storybook Store (Main Street) – this shop sells books, pins and other collectibles; many of which feature the Disney Princesses in some form or another!
- Disney and Co (Main Street) – this store is very much aimed at little ones. Toys and costumes are the main items here, include Princess fits, dolls and cuddlies among many other things.
- Lily’s Boutique (Main Street) – This store focuses on homewares, and you can often find mugs, plates and other goods with Disney Princess related theming.
- Harrington’s Fine China and Porcelain (Main Street) – This is the real shop for Disney collectors and Disneyana; featuring crystal items, jewellery, statues, figurines, art work and more. Of course the Disney Princesses make their appearances in quite a few items!
- Main Street Motors (Main Street) – This shop has clothing and accessories aimed at adults. The collections vary by season but Disney Princess related clothing, bags and more often make an appearance.
- Disney Clothiers (Main Street) – Children’s clothing and items is the name of the game here, and there’s likely to be Princess themed items among the mix!
- Ribbon and Buttons Hat Shop (Main Street) – this store offers some higher end souvenirs – think Loungefly and Dooney and Burke bags, Pandora Jewellery, Citizen Watches and more. The Princesses are typically well represented here.
While none of the other stores offer Disney Princess related items as their mainstay, you can often find a smattering of other items scattered among the shops and the kiosks around the park. (Pins and keyrings particularly make their appearance pretty much anywhere). In Adventureland there are also kiosks near Agrabah Cafe that often offer Aladdin (including Jasmine) and Moana themed souvenirs. Of course if any of the princesses are making their appearance in Disney’s seasonal entertainment at the time (as Rapunzel and Moana currently are with the Music Festival which you can learn more about in our blog) then you’re more likely to find merchandise for them in the park!
Walt Disney Studios Park (Disney Adventure World)

While the real home of the Disney Princesses is the main park next door, the Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be Disney Adventure World) doesn’t miss out on all the Princess fun. Frozen in particular has a strong presence here – and there’s more to come!
Attractions
There are a few attractions related to the Disney Princesses and Frozen.
- Frozen: A Musical Invitation – In this show you join Anna and Kristoff from Frozen in planning a surprise for Elsa, and then travel to Elsa’s Ice Palace for the surprise! This show is a bit of an odd one because you end up in two theatres, the first for the bit in Arendelle and then move theatres for the scene at the Ice Palace! It’s also worth noting that much of the show is in French including some of the songs. Having said that Frozen fans will probably love it and it is extremely popular, plan to get to the theatre well in advance of show time.
- Mickey and the Magician – Near to the Frozen show, here you follow Mickey Mouse as he tries to learn magic. On the way he encounters scenes from a number of different Disney films, including some Princess stories. There’s a magic dress change from Cinderella, and a dance with Belle and the Beast. Elsa also appears to belt out ‘Let it Go’, and there’s the Genie from Aladdin too (although Jasmine isn’t here). It’s a great show!
- Magic Carpets over Agrabah – On this ride you get to ride in a Magic Carpet. While more themed to Genie and Aladdin, this ride is a must do for anyone wanting to live out their Jasmine on the magic carpet fantasies!

While there are limited Disney Princess and Frozen related attractions here at the moment, with the refurb work that will change! The new attractions will include a Tangled themed spinning ride for those who love Rapunzel, and World of Frozen will bring a host of Anna and Elsa fun including a meet and greet, Frozen Ever After boat ride and more! The new night time lagoon show is also likely to have Disney Princess representation – the concept art shows a scene inspired by Moana.
Dining
Honestly there’s not much Princess themed dining here at all. You can get a Frozen inspired ice cream at Ice Cream Creations so that might count?! But that’s currently about it. However, the park expansions will bring us a Frozen themed quick-service restaurant (and probably snack locations), and an all new Disney Princess dining experience, complete with lounge! We’ll share news about these as we have it.
Shopping
There’s not a lot of Disney Princess merch in this park, although as noted for the Disneyland Park above things like keyrings and pins can often be found in many merchandise stores. However there’s a few places you can shop here to scratch that Disney Princess themed merchandise itch!
- Animation Boutique (World Premiere Plaza) – This shop features a lot of Frozen inspired items including collectibles, jewellery, toys and more. Unsurprising because it’s at the exit of the Frozen show!
- Chez Marianne (World of Pixar) – This shop is mostly themed around the Ratatouille attraction nearby. However it does stock some cookware and homeware here on which the Disney Princesses can make an appearance – notably Princess Tiana.
- Hollywood Jewel Box (World Premiere Plaza) – This is really a Pandora merchandise location, but look out for charms and rings inspired by the Disney Princesses.
- Walt Disney Studios Store (Entrance courtyard) – This is this park’s equivalent of the Emporium, and like the Emporium it holds a range of merchandise covering the whole gamut of Disney merchandise, including of course toys, clothing and more featuring the Disney Princesses. Hardcore fans are probably better off shopping in the main park though!
As with the other categories here, expect the park expansion to bring more Disney Princess related merchandise to the parks. There should particularly be a lot more Frozen related items available in the shops in the new World of Frozen, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see at least souvenir kiosks appear near to the new Tangled ride and Princess dining spot offering related souvenirs.
Disney Village

Shopping and dining is the name of the game in Disney Village. None of the dining locations are Princess themed (although the Royal Pub has ‘royal’ in the name if you really want to stretch it!). However the shops do offer chances to grab some Disney Princess related items!
- Deco by Disney – This shop focuses on homeware, collectibles and artworks. Expect at least some Disney Princess inspiration here!
- Disney Glamour – While mostly a Pandora store other high end collaborations are found here featured on accessories, clothing and jewellery. While collections are likely to change there’s likely to always be at least something Disney Princess related here, as well as the Disney Princess Pandora charms and rings. This is also the place to shop if you have a budget of a Disney Princess because some of the items in this shop are pricey!
- Disney Store – This shop is mostly focussed on larger Disney franchises like Marvel and Star Wars, but expect some princess representation in the soft toys and children’s items here.
- Disney Style – In here you can find clothing and accessories for adults, and while collections will change it’s likely you’ll be able to find some Princess inspired items here.
- The Lego Store – While this shop sells Lego from many different franchises, of course Disney Princess related sets are for sale here. Look out in particular for Beast’s castle from Beauty and the Beast!
- World of Disney – This is the ultimate shopping location onsite. It sells a bit of everything Disney related, and course the Disney Princesses are well represented here. Expect toys, clothing, accessories, costumes and more!
Disneyland Hotel

When it came out of its massive refurbishment, the Disneyland Hotel moved from a loose Fantasia theme to being a home for all things Disney Princess.
This theme touches everything – including the rooms. Guests here can choose which Princess they’d like their room themed to, and while selections are not guaranteed (it’ll depend on availability) from reports it sounds like you’ll get your choice more often than not. As well as the standard rooms there are also the suites that are each themed to a Disney Princess, and celebrate their story in all the room features. As you’d probably expect, these suites come at a pretty penny! (Actually all the rooms do – the Disneyland Hotel is considered a superior luxury hotel and this is very much reflected in the price!)
Outside of the rooms the Disney Princess theming continues. Here are the other Princess related activites and places you can find here:
- My Royal Dream – This experience is where your little one can be made over in true Princess style, with make up and hair inspired by a Disney Princess (or Prince if you prefer!). Packages can also include costumes, and a photo session follows. This is really Disneyland Paris’ version of Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique over in the USA parks. And like it’s USA counterpart the experience is very expensive – and very popular! Reservations are an absolute must here and can be added on to your package, or booked 30 days out for non-Disney resort guests. Despite the hassles of getting a reservation and the high price point though reviews of My Royal Dream are overwhelmingly positive!
- Disney Royal Encounter – This meet and greet with a Disney Princess is reserved for resort guests only and must be booked.
- Encounters and performances with Princesses in the hotel – around the hotel and in the lobby, the Disney Princesses often make appearances to wave and say hello to guests, and sometimes to do a little show. Don’t expect this to be a full blown meet and greet but it’s a great chance to see the princesses!
- Royal Kids Club – this Club for children includes activities themed to the Disney Princesses.
- Royal Collection Boutique – the shop in the Disneyland Hotel unsurprisingly features a lot of Disney Princess related merchandise, as well as items unique to this particular store.
- La Table de Lumiere – This character meal sees you encountering Disney Princesses, and often their princess, as you dine on a multi-course fixed-price dinner. Here the dishes are inspired by Disney stories, and the dining room has a Beauty and the Beast theme.
- Royal Banquet – While this character buffet doesn’t have princesses in attendance (instead it’s Mickey and pals in royal outfits), you will see them reflected in the decor, and in some of the food – particularly the desserts!
- Fleur de Lys Bar – At this bar you have some drinks inspired by the Disney Princesses.
- La Foret Secrete – This fine dining restaurant offers dishes inspired by Disney films, including of course some of the Disney Princesses! Among the dishes are those inspired by Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and the Little Mermaid.
- Disney Princess character breakfast – club level and suite guests at the hotel also get an exclusive Disney Princess character breakfast.
While those are some of the main Princess offerings at the Disneyland Hotel, the whole hotel reflects the Disney Princesses right down to the decor in the lobby and the halls, and a throne photo op near the shop! For Disney Princess fans this is the ultimate place to stay, but expect to have to pay for the royal treatment.
The other Disneyland Paris hotels

None of the other Disneyland Paris hotels are themed to any of the Disney Princesses. However, because there are some types of Disney merchandise that seem to pop up everywhere, don’t be surprised to find a few Disney Princess related items in any of the hotel gift shops!
Particularly look out in the gift shop at Newport Bay for items relating to the Little Mermaid and Moana with its nautical theme. You may also find souvenirs relating to the Princess’ animal side kicks in the shop at Sequoia Lodge.
It’s clear to see that Disney Princess fans of all ages have a lot of enjoy at Disneyland Paris. What are you most looking forward to experiencing?
